After more than two years with ORIGO Education, Melissa King
will be finishing her employment with the company this Thursday 11th
March.
In these tough economic times we have had to look at the
financial viability of the company currently having a sales representative in
each of our territories. The Victorian and South Australian markets have not
proved to be as profitable as we had hoped and so the decision has been made to
make this position redundant. Until such time as we determine we should again
staff this territory, Gerard will act as the Resources Adviser to support
schools in those states.
Our thanks to Melissa for the contribution she has made to
establish a brand awareness of ORIGO Education in Victoria, Tasmania and South
Australia over her time with us and for all her efforts. We wish her all the
best for her future endeavours. Gerard

In true Oz style, the ORIGO team celebrated with a pre-Australia Day
BBQ to support our National Day on Tuesday 26th January. With lots of
supporters in their Australian attire along with some of our sisters
and brothers from New Zealand we cooked up some snags on the bar-b and
gorged on Australia's favourite fruit - Pavlova!!
Thanks to Judy
who supplied the team with home-grown mangoes for our Mango cook-off.
An outstanding selection of mango treats including Mango Chutney, Mango
& Passionfruit Cheesecake and Mango Pavlova - but Gerard stole the
show with his Mango Smoothies winning this years cook-off.
Congratulations Gerard.

Congratulations Gene!!! Today Gene has been signed off as having completed his Certificate III in Warehousing and Logistics. This qualification has taken Gene two years and included him having to create and implement many procedures and documents in our warehouse. Well done Gene on this great achievement. |

Congratulations to Darryl & wife Ruth who gave birth to Liam Oliver Van Leerdam Saturday afternoon, 16th January.
Liam weighed in at a very healthy 4.12kg (9lb) and 54cm (21") long. Both Mum & Bub are doing well and proud dad says "He is a legend." |

A big week for anniversary's in our Sales Team with Marty & Michael celebrating one year and Melissa celebrating her two year anniversary with ORIGO.
Melissa, Marty & Michael have all added tremendously to our team and we thank them for all their hard work. It has been a very exciting 12 months with a lot of new products being launched and many more in the pipeline.
Thanks to each of you - we are all looking forward to working with you for the next 12 months as ORIGO moves towards the National Curriculum!

Yesterday (14 December) Peter received his BEd degree. Some of us were aware that Peter has been a diligent student. As proof of that, Peter's degree was awarded with 'First Class Honours.' That is only for a select few. Well done Peter.
